Spring is in the Air (March – May)
- March: Immerse yourself in Cayman culture at Red Sky Night, an event celebrating all things culture, art, local food, and music of the Cayman Islands.
- March: The QE II Botanical Gardens is in full bloom for the Annual Orchid Show, where you can walk around the Botanic Park grounds, and marvel at Cayman’s local flora and fauna(keep an eye out for the endemic blue iguanas).
- April: Being the culinary capital of the Caribbean has its perks. Visit us in time for Taste of Cayman, an annual foodie extravaganza that only gets bigger every year. Live concerts, food stands by Cayman’s best chefs and restaurants, cooking competitions, and a dazzling firework display to ring out the weekend fun!)
- April: For those who enjoy premiere sport-fishing, this event is for you. Register to take part in the Cayman Islands International Fishing Tournament for a chance to catch potential award-winning Wahoo, Yellowfin Tuna, Dolphin, and Billfish.
- May: Jump on the road with Cayman Carnival Batabano for a parade of costumes, live music, dancing, and celebrating Caribbean culture!
Splash into Summer (June – August)
- June: Partake in the annual Flowers Sea Swim, a one-mile open water race where hundreds of participants swim along pristine Seven Mile Beach.
- July: Want to spend your July 4th holiday on a tropical island instead? Enjoy Constitution Day in Grand Cayman, to celebrate the first written constitution of the Cayman Islands. You can usually expect fireworks on this day as well!
- July: Can’t make it to our Batabano Carnival in May? No worries, take to the streets to celebrate Caymas Carnival with dazzling costumes, live music, local food, and an outdoor parade that guarantees fun, always!
Fall Favorites (September – November)
- October: Looking for more foodie events? Enjoy Cayman Restaurant Month for special menus crafted by most restaurants island-wide featuring ideal pricing and a chance for chefs to wow you with their skills.
- November: Cayman’s Pirate Fest celebrates the Caribbean’s well-known pirate legends and heritage, ideal for all ages to attend. Locals and visitors alike dress in their best pirate gear to join in on watching our capital travel through time. Watch the pirates land in the heart of George Town, followed by a parade with floats, live music, local food vendors, and of course – ending with a firework display!
